“Photography has not so much to do with being in the right place at the right time
as it has to do with seeing in the right place at the right time.”

ChezJAG is an ongoing experiment in photography, HTML,
words and art. For me, it's an unfinished painting that I add to
from time to time. For you, I hope you see it as this
fascinating world as seen through my eyes.

I have made ChezJAG as factually accurate as possible.

There is a lot of information here, and a lot to see.
More information about what you will see here is available by
simply emailing me, as many people have enjoyed doing.

This site is a convergence of different technology over many years.
As such, I make no apologies for the wide variety of presentations
that you will see here. The software, hardware, cameras, and everything
else involved do keep getting better...

All of that comes and goes, but, the photographs,
the ideas, and the stories they tell, remain the same.

ChezJAG continued...

The most recent work I've done. Newer software experiments. Photos from
Germany, Italy, the Canary Islands, and the U.S. There are also links
to work I have done for other people, and to other people's work.

ChezJAG.net

The original ChezJAG index with links to photos and
narration from trips to Cochem, Brüggen, Monschau, Eifel, Remagen, and
the Ahr River valley in Germany, Lanzarote in the Canary Islands, and to
a page of digital art I've done. The main photo you see in that index
rotates to a new one once an hour. There are, naturally, 24 of those.
There is a link there to all of those too (Main Pics).

Steve's Digicams Website

This is a link to one of the most informative sites on the Internet about
digital cameras. I have been using it for years and would not buy a new (or
used) camera without reading up on it there first. (English)

Information about the camera I used for six years, from Steve's: Casio QV3000EX

Information about the camera I am using now, from Steve's: Canon Powershot S5 IS
